Berkeley Tool Kit Rental Program

You can now rent the Berkeley factory tool set to rebuild your jet drive in your garage. This rental kit will come with the impeller puller, impeller socket, bowl bearing removal and installation tool, seal drivers, and a splined shaft socket, to make quick work of the toughest parts of the rebuild process. You can now rent the tools used by Berkeley professionals for years at a fraction of the cost.

Rental Cost Breakdown:

• $75.00 rental fee
• $415.00 deposit required (plus sales tax if located in California or Florida) (Refunded when returned)
• $150.00 late fee after 2 week rental period, not returnable after 30 days

Rental Terms

Rental period is for 2 weeks from time of delivery, tools returned late (after 15 days and before 30 days) are subject to a $150.00 late fee and are not returnable after 30 days. When tools are returned within the allowed time period you will be credited back $275.00 of your $350.00 deposit with the remaining $75.00 going to the rental fee. Any tools not returned or returned damaged will be deducted from the deposit at the current retail price.

Traditional SeaStar Solutions (formerly Teleflex Marine) mechanical rack steering is still the choice for sterndrives, inboards and other power-assisted applications. It's just right for power-steered boats in which No-Feedback Systems are not Required. The Back Mount Rack Steering System features the precision and comfort of four turns lock-to-lock with a cable and helm that install easily from behind the dash. Virtually all Power-Assisted Sterndrive and Inboard Boats with Wheels up to 16-inch Diameter. - SS141xx Replaces 1984 and Newer SeaStar Solutions 'The Rack' Steering without dash modification (Requires use of SSC134xx Back Mount Rack Cable Enclosed).

(1) SH5210P Helm; (1) SB39526P 90 Degree Bezel Kit; (1) SSC134xx Steering Cable; Hardware and Instruction Sheets.

Note: This System is for Single Station use ONLY. Components are available for Dual Cable Systems, but we Recommend No Feedback (NFB) Steering for all Dual Cable Steered, Non-Power Assisted Outboards. This System is only recommended as a replacement for the original system as installed by the boat manufacturer. SeaStar Solutions always recommends NFB Helms for Outboard Applications.

Note: SSC124xx Old Style Rack Cables cannot be used with these systems.
